The Vagina Monologues is more than a play. It is part of an amazing global movement called V-Day, which is committed to ending violence against women and girls.
V-Day is a vision: We see a world where women live safely and freely.
V-Day is a demand: Rape, incest, battery, genital mutilation and sexual slavery must end now.
V-Day is a demand: Rape, incest, battery, genital mutilation and sexual slavery must end now.
V-Day is a process: We will work as long as it takes. We will not stop until the violence stops.
To
further the mission of ending sexual violence Women Organizing Women at
LSU is organizing a V-Day celebration! Our V-Day 2008 celebration will
include a production of The Vagina Monologues and a Pro- Vagina Art
Gallery Exhibit on Thursday, March 13th at 7pm in the International
Cultural Center.
